We have added the names, occupation and life status of the fathers of the couple getting married to our results pages.
We have made the assumption that if the status isn't declared as 'deceased' on the marriage certificate than the
father is still living. If you know differently, or if you can fill in some of the missing data (relationship of witnesses) please contact us
with the details and we will add them.

We have added to the Barningham Baptism database . We now cover years 1581 to 1950.

We have made a little tweak to the birth, marriages and death search pages to make the output in surname order rather than database key order.
Several more certificates have been added to the database. Please checkout the database statistics for a current count.

We have completed the data entry for the Bowes Parish registers.
We are planning to start entering the register information for Barningham Marriages or Deaths next.

Happy New Year! We now have over 3000 parish records in the Bowes Parish register and we are still only
up to the letter "B"! It will be a long haul but we are working on it.

We are pleased to announce that the Bowes Parish register page now has a search facility available.
We are still in the process of adding records to the database but what is there is now searchable.

More marriage certificates have been added to the database.
Marriage certificate report details have been developed and are available from the dropdown menu.

Added a new marriage certificate database. Currently only a couple of certificates have been added
but it is hoped to add more soon.
Marriage certificate report details are still in development as they present some unique challenges.
It is hoped to have this developed shortly.
Changed the search options pages to cut down of any searches for people not in the database.
The selections now are populated from information contained with the database only.
